Guitar Hero

Mitch, Mackay, John, and Sabrina, and Miranda played some Guitar Hero on Mackay's Birthday. I think they enjoyed themselves. I think they played until 2 am.

Savannah just chillin and watch them play. Grandma Net has a cool wall in the background.

Brigham is hanging out watching with his dad.

Our little crawler...

Here is Brigham just after he started crawling. He was 8 months old then. He was off on a mission to find something.

He was often seen crawling with his head down until he got to where he was going. I thought it was funny. Savannah probably did it too I just don't remember.

The day he started crawling was also the day he started furniture walking. By the time Savannah was this age she was walking. But she didn't have as big a head to carry around either. So he just goes by leaps once he has figured it out.

He is so proud of himself. He got the game! He is now 10 months old and this week he has started taking steps on his own to get to places. Now I have a walker! He is also quite the stair climber. I don't think I have any pictures, but he will get up the stairs no matter what. We haven't had a gate because since we moved here we really haven't needed one. When we watched Liam we just barricaded the stairs with the banana chair. That was all I needed. With Brigham we have used the banana chair - he figured out how to go around - we added the hot wheels at the end to block - he figured out how to lift it up and push it out of the way - so we added a kitchen chair to hold the hot wheels - he just climbed over the banana chair at first and then he figured out how to tip the kitchen chair (made of wood-heavy) so that he could shinny behind the chair, yes he kept shuffling his hands across the back of the chair while he shinnied, and then he pushed over the hot wheels and then up the stairs he went. So we bought a gate today. I think he took down the gate 3 times before Mitch found a spot and made it so tight that he had yet been able to take it down. So maybe tomorrow I won' t have to chase him up the stairs every 5 minutes.

Savannah

We got Savannah some 'school' books a little while ago. She was so excited to do them. One of her favorites has been learning to cut. She love to try to cut things . The book has large black lines for her to cut along. She has improved lots since we started. We also have dry erase board book that she practices, tracing for now, her letters and numbers. We also recently have started writing her name. She is even getting to the point she can spell it all by herself. Yeah. This took a little bit because at first she had no interest in trying to write. And then one day she just writes and 'A' ! I couldn't believe it. Now we just have to get her interested in writing numbers. At least she is starting to visually recognize them.

Can we say blackmail material?

Savannah and Liam were playing 'dress' up a couple months ago. I guess he really didn't have many clothing options. We don't have boys play clothes. He didn't seem to mind.

Cute face

Check out this cute face. He is excited about something. He is showing off two of his pearly whites. He now has eight of them.

I think he was excited about this balloon. I would be too:)

How can you not love those little chubby cheeks? We love that little face.

No more teasing here are some pictures of the kids

These pictures were taken back in January. Brigham was 7 months old then. He was now able to sit on the little couch with Savannah. So I took a few pictures of them. Then I started noticing something...

I started getting this face after every picture I took. So I hurried to take a second picture just to capture the look. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I guess he was trying to figure out what that flash was doing.

This is a teaser...

Well I haven't blogged for a while. I guess it is just one more thing some days. So I am going to try again. Here are some pictures of our van we got in November. It only has taken me 5 months to get pictures of it. Enjoy.
Our Toyota Sienna.

The front seats.

The view from the front.

The middle and back seats.

And last but not least my amazing trunk. I love that the seats can fold down into the floor when needed. We love it.
