We went on a trip to Cabellas with some of our neighbors. Our kids needed a place they could go and be outside the house. Reed, Savannah, and Dallas were so good about letting us take their picture in the museum. Dallas even enjoyed shooting the guns in the shooting range while Savannah covered her ears. The highlight for Savannah was the airplane, of course, and feeding the fish. They had some food you could feed the fish and she remembered feeding the animals at Hee Haws for Halloween so as soon as she saw the dispenser she was really excited. And those fish were excited too. They tackled each other for it!

Playing in Strange Places
Savannah has taken to wanting to sit in the toy box. Today she even got into our hamper probably because it was empty for a change.

Twirling
Savannah loves to wear dresses all the time. She also loves to dance. Above is a picture of her in action. Below is a very quick video of her twirling as she did not dance very long once she saw me put the camera up. I think I tried at least 4 times to get a good video, but I eventually gave up and this is as good as it is going to get. Sorry it is sideways. It was upright when I previewed it.

December Update
December has been one busy month for us. I don't know if we have been home for a whole week since Thanksgiving. We started off the month with a trip to visit my brother in Minnesota (pictured below).
Then we continued on to South Dakota to visit Kristie's Parents and their puppy Bebe, whom Savannah thoroughly enjoyed.
When we came home it seems we brought the cold weather with us and we got a lot of snow to play with. I didn't think Savannah would like having to put on her snow pants and boots all the time to play in it, but she is completely willing. Thank goodness! So on our first substantial snowfall the snow was perfect for snowmen. Here is Savannah squatting next to our little snow men. She wasn't patient enough to build really big ones.
Some kids decided it would be fun to smash our snowmen on the way home from school that day so Mitch and Savannah went out and build another miniature snowman (the snow was crunchy by this point so it was too hard to make too many).
We decided to make sugar cookies for Christmas this year since it was a family tradition of mine. Savannah was all for it. She loves anything to do with stirring or making anything we will let her. So of course she has to cut out the sugar cookies.
We were at the Moore's for Christmas this year and they decided it would be fun to rein act the nativity. The only picture of us doing this seems to be the only one I took of Savannah in her angel outfit. I thought she looked so cute. She loves to dress up.
Then came Christmas where we were finally able to open to open gifts (Savannah wanted to open her gift for two weeks since she found it under the tree). She was very good at opening her gifts this year. She didn't need any help. She even helped her dad open his. Kristie's family also made it out to Utah for New Year's so we had Christmas again when they got here.
