3rd Christmas - South Dakota Brrrrrrrrrrr!

Savannah, Wendy, and Brigham looking all cute.

Two crazy sisters!

Savannah had to try to stick out her tongue too.

Grandma Pat and Brigham.

Savannah is sporting Grandma's reading glasses. So adorable!

Smile big for the camera! This is a great smile from Brigham.

Savannah gearing up for the frigid outdoors. I think this day it was above zero. The night before we left it was 30 below zero without the windchill factor. It was still 9 below when we left South Dakota at 2pm.

Savannah is king or should I say queen of the snow pile!

Wendy and Savannah made snow angels.

Kristie and Brigham braving the cold.

Here we go sliding down the hill!. We didn't last very long in the cold. We were done after going down the hill once. Pansies, I know.

Savannah stuck out the cold. She and Wendy made a snow tunnel and had a blast. Shortly after this picture Savannah had had enough cold and came in crying.

Princess Savannah and her royal guard Brigham (or maybe he is her prince. It depends on the day).

Presents! Brigham wants to open or should I say eat everyones presents. He is sporting Bryan's hat.
Savannah is diving in to her presents while Brigham is secretly eating his.

The Deer

Mitch is very proud of the deer he got this year. I don't remember what the score was, but it scored higher than his dad's deer.

Mitch standing next to his prized deer. He needs a name anyone have any ideas?

Russ, Harvey (Russ's Deer), The Deer, Mitch and Brigham. If you look at the deer really close, Russ's deer is wider and Mitch's deer is taller (the antlers I mean).

Christmas Outfits

Aren't they a couple of cute kids?

2nd Christmas

Our 2nd Christmas was with the Moore's. We ran up there right after opening presents so we could talk with the missionaries.

Savannah opening a presents with Brigham watching.

Ooh! More paper!!!

I think she likes princesses. What do you think?

Tools! Yes!!!!

1st Christmas

Our first Christmas was at our own house! It has never happened. It may not happen again for awhile but who knows. Brigham and Savannah enjoyed opening presents.

Brigham loved opening presents. It meant paper he could eat.

Savannah was a machine. She opened one present and then was on to another. She enjoyed them when she was done opening.

Ripping the paper. YUM! YUM!

Santa brought Savannah a play kitchen. I has been a big hit.

A Unique Decoration

Savannah had to add her own personal touch to our christmas sleigh. If you look really close Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Polly Pocket, and I think Snow White are riding in the sleigh. There is another Ariel sitting in front of the sleigh because she didn't fit inside.

Mom wasn't paying attention

So this was back before Christmas and just before Brigham was 6 months old. We got a few candy canes to put on our tree. Well Savannah had been playing with them for a day or two and hadn't gotten any of them open. So she gives one to her brother to play with. I figured if she didn't get it open he wouldn't either. The next thing I know is I'm looking at this cute face.

He's so proud of himself. The pure joy of a blue candy cane!

Savannah of course had to have her picture taken with a candy cane in her mouth too.

January Already!

I promise to have pictures posted soon. Hopefully tomorrow. An update in our world - we bought a van just before Thanksgiving, we love it. Brigham is in the 97th percentile for weight, 99th for head size and length, so he is a big kid to lug around. We had a wonderful Christmas with Kristie's family. Mitch barely made his connecting flight coming to South Dakota, and we all barely made our connecting flight back to Utah. Brigham can say 'mama' and has finally decided he can roll from back to front. Crawling here we come. That is us in a nutshell.
